Getting a taste of occupational practice during summer break
Dortmund, 3 July 2009. Students who would like to obtain information on career opportunities in the microsystem technology sector during the summer break are cordially invited to the 4th Dortmund Summer School for Microsystem Technology. It offers the opportunity of becoming familiar with technologies, areas of application and products as well as talking to scientists and companies in the region from 24 to 28 August 2009. Small particles - big impact
Dortmund, 22 June 2009. North Rhine-Westphalia numbers among the leading locations for nanotechnology - this is demonstrated by the 2nd NRW Nano Conference at the Westfalenhallen Dortmund conference centre. Topical issues from the point of view of users and researchers are on the agenda today and tomorrow. In addition, around 65 companies, institutes and research institutions present themselves in a parallel exhibition.

Investments in the new technologies
Dortmund, 19 May 2009. The event is already a tradition. The Venture Capital Roundtable Dortmund took place at Harenberg City-Center today (Thursday) for the sixth time. This year the focus was on the topic of “New Technologies and Materials”. Around 130 participants accepted the invitation of dortmund-project, TechnologieZentrumDortmund, MST.factory dortmund, the IVAM trade association and NRW.BANK.
